Ossipee to Gorham

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. I am planning on heading to Gorham from Ossipee. I seem to recall that it is 19 all the way up, but haven't done the trip in a few years. Any hints, suggestions, and/or cautions from anyone? How about suggestions on places to eat once I arrive?

Thanks in advance for the help

Wondered where you were at??

19 all the way, just watch the Maine turnoffs that you don't go off the commerce trail. I may have the trip in my Garmin if I can figure out how to get it out.

There are a bunch of places to ride your sled to in town to eat. J's corner, Mr. Pizza, Salidinos, and more just watch for the signs on the pipeline trail (Cor. 19) in town and they will tell you where to exit for each resturant.

How bout over through Brownfield? There's some nice little trails over there and if i recall, there's some sort of major corrider type trail that dumps right into conway/fryburg.

Surely someone on here knows that route, maybe even has it on GPS?

I did it a couple years ago, up C-19, back via this other way, a good loop, we ran the side of a road for too long, had a couple dead end/turn around debacles and stopped at a house for directions (burp), nice people. I have no clue where the hell we were or how we ended up back in SOSville but we did, less the road deal, it was a great ride.

Take a left at x junction (junction before chimney) follow to Foss mtn, keep going past, you'll enter Burnt Meadows sc trails you'll be on trail #1, follow that trail alll the way to tracks in Fryburg. Head to Evans Notch from there.
