"On the Trail again" Ride 1.22.22

Recommended Posts

Well, I hope everyone was able to get out this weekend - COLD Cold Cold and flat on the RR beds, rocks starting to show on side trails due to traffic.  Parked Potter Place 7am -16, still -16 at 8am...finally made it out at 830ish- first 3 miles down the bed I said, why do I do this, but my goal for the day was ride slower woods trails and that is what I did, as soon as I got off the RR, stood up and went much slower I warmed right up- some trails groomed 345 etc. some not.  Atleast I rode about 70 miles - maybe a Thursday mid week ride - I will post if I go.

Ride Right, Ride Safe, and Ride On !

I imagine you rode to 11 in Hill. How were conditions over there and did you head north towards Alexandria?

Thanks for the reports and great pics!

I rode that area Sunday and didn’t find conditions all that great and signage was poor…missed a lot of junctions that weren’t marked. Hit 11s out of Wellington state park and by mishap ended up at Franklin falls dam, pretty cool! Not that conditions were terrible, just seemed it hadn’t been groomed for a bit or there was a ton of traffic

then 2n to 5 and had to cut the route short to a mishap with my riding buddy. Cut across on 24 I believe to 11s back to Wellington

Thanks dmax. That's exactly the trail I was referring to...corridor 11 from Profile Falls to Wellington. It can be an adventure...especially if you're not familiar with the area.

Yes, correct and thanks for the update.  I ran up 11 for a few miles and turned back saying its needs a bit more snow and it would be a nice way north to Newfound area.
