Freedom Rider 209 Report post Posted May 7, 2017 Anybody go on the trip of deniability? Did Gilligan speak much about his matrix's and formulas of why no information gets out to clubs, members, or County Directors? 1 Bilbo reacted to this

Freedom Rider 209 Report post Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) Hollywood could not write a script that can go head to head with this mess. Scott and Skip once again you have made me laugh with your great wit and humor. Sadly that is probably the best thing that one can gather out of this embarrassing event. RK-SXViper 144 Report post Posted May 8, 2017 1 hour ago, Skip said: All humor aside, anyone know how they handled the vacant Vice President debacle? According to the by laws at the July board meeting after the new officers are sworn in the board will nominate and vote on a new Vice President. Anyone who has been on the board for a two year term is elidgable. 2 dubba and Skip reacted to this
PolarisCobra 132 Report post Posted May 11, 2017 Was anything else discussed? Some sort of news from someone who was there would be great.
dubba 7 Report post Posted May 11, 2017 (edited) I asked each of the my clubs attending members what was discussed. Their answer was "absolutely nothing". No current events were mentioned including the hunt for a new executive director. There was a speech about the way the Vice President would be appointed once the meeting was over. PolarisCobra 132 Report post Posted May 12, 2017 Is it correct to say that this particular meeting is more of an awards banquet, and not so much a business meeting? That would explain the lack of substance. I know that the distributed some awards.

I think it's fair to say that the lack of contested elections for NHSA officers is an indicator that the annual meeting is not for debating and deciding policy, but for announcement and confirmation of previously made decisions. Here's the 2016 Annual Meeting wrap-up.
