Let the games begin in southern NH!  We got a good foot in Nottingham.

I bet every club in the southern half of the state is already getting  emails asking if the trails are groomed yet.

Good call. 2 emails and 1 facebook post so far...

Trails look minty here in Littleton. I haven't been out in two weeks. Riding local with my oldest son. Littleton, Lisbon, Monroe.

We only got about 10 miles.  4-5 stops to de ice face shields and goggles heated shields couldn't keep up. Dangerous. Turned around went home.  Couldn't see at all.  Especially in open areas. I'll try again tomorrow. I see an epic night ride tues.

We left Boscawen this am from Depot street, headed up by the County Farm and headed onto 335 towards Mt. Kearsage, trails through Blackwater were great and up to the Mt. were pretty good too.

Back down to Pizza Chef in Andover for lunch, then up 345 over the power lines to 11 and back down through Franklin falls.

Trails were good to great everywhere, about 100 miles at a guess, speedo cable is broke so no odo.

Sounds like the almost same ride Nigel lead us on a month ago !

Today I did the Pink Ride for Breast Cancer with Matty. Got to meet Gunmaker and his crew. Nice ride and very nice trails for the area. Nothing like the bigger trails up there but nice and close to my home. They arw only 15 min away ;-)

I managed a 60 mile solo afternoon ride when the freezing drizzle subsided. Trails were fantastic.

Hang in there boys. Cold temps will return in the north country and there's still riding to be had. This season isn't over yet.

I believe I know the answer to this question...however, how are the trails holding up. I'll be up north next week for a long weekend and would like to get a ride or 2 in. I've been reading as much as what is avail on the inter web but would like to hear straight from the horses mouth/you guys.

I'm not sure what conditions are in Nash Stream, but Swift Diamond and Pittsburg clubs have done wonders with their trails in the last 24 hours. We saw several tandem PRR groomers working like hell... trails that were nothing but ice yesterday are now rideable and not bad by any means.

Saturday we went 3 miles and had to turn around.  Glare ice with a dusting on top of it.  Many rocks and dirt under that dusting in areas. This was north Stratford area leading into groveton or points north.  It MIGHT have been ok deeper into the woods but we had overheating and hot hyfax going on.  No snow in forecast this week as of now for up there.  Not Good.  Trailering to northern elevated areas I would assume is good.

As of  March 18 2017, Clough State Park was good.

Nice for this time of March.

Going downhill quickly in the southern part of the state (Bow). Exposed areas are quickly melting, rocks and stumps showing, and water bars/mud holes opening up.

We had 2 separate reports of sleds through the ice on 2 different ponds in town over the weekend.

STAY OFF THE ICE!!!
