Saluda 110 Report post Posted January 3, 2017 Anyone have any experience with them ?
Saluda 110 Report post Posted January 12, 2017 If anyone is interested in one I just purchased a EnergyFlux Ellipse 5200 after returning a couple of other units. This one is nice, very good heat and run times. Heats on both sides and a reasonable price. Decent recharge time frame and good controls. Two heat levels. Also acts as a battery pack if you need it (phone charging).
dubba 7 Report post Posted January 13, 2017 Stupid question- is it something you put into your gloves? Maybe I should just google it.
Saluda 110 Report post Posted January 17, 2017 A little too big to fit into your gloves, it's a hand warmer. Did use it in Pittsburg this week end. Bad thing is the colder out it is the shorter the run (heat) time. That's with keeping it in your pocket between use. Not as happy with it now, prior test was in the house and I only considered heat output and run time.
dubba 7 Report post Posted January 17, 2017 Sort of like your own pocket thermonuclear device? How much run time did you get in cold temps?
Saluda 110 Report post Posted January 17, 2017 Only turned it on the first time I needed it. Other trip I turned it on when we left the cabin. Low heat which is good, about 3.5 hours.
dubba 7 Report post Posted January 17, 2017 That seems like a long time!
Saluda 110 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) I believe less than their brochure states. Our average trip out is longer than that. Edited January 18, 2017 by Saluda
