Mid eighties with a ocean temp low 70s here in Florida. Lots of Sea-Doo action.

Looks like the rain is over Vermont right now and moving east, should be about 1" of rain which should produce flood conditions in the normal locations. Boy, this did end up early and ugly.

I think I hear the Fat Lady singing.   A whopping 100 miles put on this year!

It's been a blowtorch here is Stark all of this week.  10 days ago, I almost got stuck in 30 inches of fresh powder trying to get out of my yard.  But temps in the 50s and 60s for the past 3 days melted all of that snow.  The heat was followed by rain last night and then about 2 inches of fresh snow.  So what remains is about 6" of hard packed snow with a little powder on top.  Trails in the woods still have their base but trails in open areas are bare.  This week looks warm again with real cold not showing up for another week.  I would say the trails from Rt. 2 to Rt.110 are done without more snow.  The trails from Rt. 110 to Rt. 26 could probably be ridden but you will encounter bare spots in open areas.  Trails north of Rt. 26 should still be rideable with fairly good coverage.

50° with rain yesterday to 17° with snow showers today. The forecast is calling for below normal temps for a few days, then another warmup.

Today was the coldest day of the season here in Northeastern Vermont. We did have a high of 5 above zero just after midnight, however the temp only got up to -2 this afternoon. When you add in the wind in was brutal outside today. Only saw a handful of snowmobiles here in town when I passed through this afternoon.

9" of snow at 3:00pm in Loudon. Snowing hard, with significant blowing snow. That blowing snow sometimes reduces visibility to almost white-out conditions, and while I was measuring the snow in an open field area a robin flew by. Obviously not the smartest bird in the flock. Probably not a local. Yup, probably from away.

Just checked snow depth again and we now have 14", so we gained 5" in just under 3 hours. The snow has slowed down and from the NWS radar it appears we are in the center of the storm's CCW rotation.

Been getting light snow / flurries here all day. My best guess is about 14" so far.

Here's a video I shot from the car yesterday when I went in to town.

You nailed it, that how much faster I set the video when I edited it. I need to use the GoPro more often.

I thought it was the booze making it seem that way. It is St Patty's day after all.

Is this the snow I ordered back in February? When instead we got 70 degs?  If so it's too late for delivery,  and you can keep it!
