Official SledNH weather thread

200 posts in this topic

I know I'm not the only weather nut on here. Lets see if we can keep this tread going by posting what the weather is like in your backyard everyday. It's interesting to see how much the weather varies by location. So, no mater where you live, post up what the weather is doing. I'll start.

We are having a beautiful late fall day here in Island Pond, VT. Currently sunny and 55°

Who's next?

Nice day here in Epsom...doing fall clean-ups and last minute driveway grading.

With all the leaves on the ground blanketing the state...hold that thought...how about a motorized leaf sled!  Bring back the boggie wheels.

Oh bye the way...not quite ready to break Christmas bulbs as last year...but how about something interactive...say trees to cut!

I had forgotten about the Xmas bulbs. Unfortunately that is the only option. It's a plugin that a developer made for the software.

After a cloudy and foggy start to the day it cleared off around 11AM. Currently sunny with a temperature of 50F.

Potential for it to get white around here in a few days.

In today's NWS forecast discussion is the equivalent of WMUR's "Snow in forecast? Tune in tonight at 7:00"

Models indicate a possible coastal low develops rapidly off the coast late Friday into Saturday and may cause significant precipitation to develop. Many questions and low confidence with this system at this point so need to broad brush it until models show better continuity between runs. Ptype will also be a concern for most of the forecast area since temps aloft may be cold enough for snow over most areas.
