SDR Opens Trails!

Recommended Posts

Swift Diamond Riders have opened most of their trails. Here's a post from their Facebook Page.

TRAIL UPDATE: Trails are open except for trail 134 to the Balsams, please use extreme caution when riding.. Trails range from poor in the woods to fair or even good on the logging roads. Your best bet if you plan to ride from Coleman or the clubhouse would be to use 18 or 127 to access logging roads. Corridor 5 is very wet and I would not advise you to use it. Please watch for water bars, possible downs trees and gates. Looks like more snow over the weekend so lets hope for better conditions middle of the week!!
LAKES AND PONDS ARE NOT SAFE!!!!

Happy New Year!!

Jeff

The trails were great.,. Swift diamond area was the best it has Been all year.  Some ar as received upto 11" of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday  Errol was out grooming and the trails were good. They had like 4" of spacked snow on an ice base.  Did 165 miles with two others and we just took it easy and had a great day of riding

We went up Saturday from coleman up to candian border, border pond, and back down.  I had forgotten how bumpy it can get up in the pitts.  At least there was snow.  We did 140 miles. I'm doubtful if conditions will allow further riding if what's forecasted is accurate.
