134 or so miles with Nox, Coldbrew, and 6 others. Left from Wellington state park and headed north....Hardy Country in the morning was the best I’ve ever seen it.....warren to Haverhill started out nice, but went quickly down hill, trails and fields were bare and icy....just not enough snow that way. We ate lunch and headed back to warren and over to Campton and back south to Plymouth and back to Newfound lake. Hardy Country was still great on our way back through at 4pm. Got the fleet out for a family picture today.

I only rode two miles in circles at my parents house, but I got to watch this....Life is good.
  13. How/where did you mount it? I certainly don’t want to drill any holes in the hood. I’m thinking I’ll drill the snow flap and use some stainless steel hardware to mount it there.

    That brings back memories!
  15. How to keep snowmobiling alive in NH

Totally agree and add Boats to the list that have to take a safety course. Sadly State law only requires that all operators 12 years of age and over must possess either a valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License or must have successfully completed an approved OHRV or Snowmobile Safety Education Class when operating off their own property. So it is such a small window age wise (4 years) that people are required to take the safety class. I took it with my son this year. There is always something you can learn and I would have no problem if the state made this mandatory for everyone. There would be a lot of people who might learn something and a lot of people who don’t care and just take it so they can ride, look at all the people who have their drivers licenses and still drive like morons. But I think it would be better than nothing.
  16. Anyone using a vintage plate?

This is going on an 87 but yes I totally agree!
  17. Anyone using a vintage plate?

How did you attach the bracket? Got a picture? Thanks!
  18. Anyone using a vintage plate?

No, it’s for my sons sled, not Mine. I’ve got three more years to go before I can register mine as vintage, but by then I’m sure they’ll change the law and I’ll get screwed out of it.

    Today was another good day
  20. I had a nice time as did my wife, son, and my parents, the food was excellent!
  21. How to keep snowmobiling alive in NH

You are not the only person who has a wife, kids, who spends their time with kids, is active in the community, and other obligations. We all have that, but yet you want us to take care of this because you don't have time? You posed a question, I gave you a very strait forward and valid answer to contact the NSA about this. Your response was to tell me you don't have the time and to call me one of NH's snowmobiling problems and that you don't care, what I've done before. For the record I have never claimed to have done anything or posted that I've done, this or I've done that, so I don't know where that came from, but hey whatever, nice attitude. And then there was this "Many of you have been doing great work for sledding in NH for a long time. That does not mean the ball wasn’t dropped" Nice back handed complement, you guys did great, but you dropped the ball, and we are all gonna go to Maine unless you fix it. You said "Younger generation doesn’t want to deal with out dated laws when they are going to get rung up for $75+ a ticket." The younger generation needs to step up and get involved if they don't like something and help to change laws, but that takes time, work, and effort. If they don't make time to help change it or run off to Maine, then things will never change. If they expect someone else to do it for them, then things will never change.
  22. How to keep snowmobiling alive in NH

Because you were being a dick? LOL come on, now that was funny All kidding aside, You want NH to be an attraction for the next generation and moving forward, but if that is going to happen the next generation is going to have to put in the work to make it happen, not just run off to another state because it's easier. They can't expect someone else to do it for them, they have to help make it happen. I always see "they should", "the state should", never "we should". At the end of the day we all love snowmobiling and want to see it last here in NH, but we have to work together to make it happen. The name calling and mud slinging on both sides accomplishes nothing and needs to stop. We need to work together, united we stand, divided we fall.
  23. How to keep snowmobiling alive in NH

So the club was organized, worked with the land owners (the state), and got an area opened up for them to ride in...well how about that, just what suggested the off trail community do.
  24. How to keep snowmobiling alive in NH

Same here. I have zero interest in riding off trail, but anyone can see it has become a huge segment of snowmobiling. Read my posts I never once said I disagreed with him. I simply stated he should take it up directly with the NHSA and for that I'm the problem....and look at that, he did just what I suggested...
