  1. 1.23.10-Plymouth Areas

Rode a bit yesterday and trails still excellent up in elevation and down low by Rt 25 looking better, grooming going full steam ahead. Ride this weekend before the rain hits, I don't think the rain is going to damage too much, we will just loose all our lubrication for the hyfax.
  2. 1.23.10-Plymouth Areas

Lots-o-sleds out today, but trails look good and saw the groomer fueling up at Ryzaks this evening......tomorrow will be good and based on the latest weather forecast, I don't think this area will loose too much with the rain, especially up in elevation. The onlything we may loose is the loose snow for lubrication. Ride Right, Ride Safe, and Ride on....
  3. Snowmobile Drivers License.

Not too sure where I stand on this. Sounds like a good idea but do see the other side of the story. Would it create safer trails? Would it create more revenue? Yes and paperwork. I am all for the boating license but have not seen the waters get any safer... What is next a dirtbike/atv license like a road motorcycle license? Hey how about this, we give out licenses for "Common Sense" this should help.
  4. Pictures of your sleds!!!!

Nice Rides everyone. Quick question to PStock800-why is the tunnel so long after the track? I am not a Cat man so am not sure if there is technical reason for it.
  5. Sorry for the late post, had to rush back and plow all evening....anywho... Snowed all day up there and there was 4-6 on the ground when I showed up early AM and additional 2-5 fell yesterday so down low- Game On again- much needed snow has blessed the lower elevations and the upper elevations are getting better, didn't hit one rock yesterday but I also never went below 1300 feet riding 20 miles of mostly untouched trails and a broke a few trails that have not been touched this year yet. Get out and ride this weekend is going to be great with the warm weather. 1st one is upper elevations main trails, 2nd groomed bliss with fresh track, 3rd wifes lasagna heated up via pipes on the sled. It worked great. 4th breaking trails Right Right, Ride Safe, and Ride on...

  7. Rt25 in Plymouth, surprising the trails looked good down low. Temp never got above freezing and saw a few trailers parked at the Common Man-RR is junk eventhough open on the 15th. Rode a few miles up in elevation above 1000 feet trails looked much better but still a rock here and there..... My guess is the warm up tomorrow will not efffect the area too bad. This weekend will be nice to ride since it will be much warmer and pray for more snow. Ride Right, Ride Safe, and Ride On
  8. Pittsburg trails

Awesome photos, gotta get up there this season for a day or 2.....enjoy everyone. Ride Right, Ride Safe, and Ride on...
  9. Flume parking lot up to twin mountain

don't have any 1st hand knowledge but should be OK since it did not get too warm up there today and most of the trail is good with low snow. Only spot that could be rough is past Mt Jefferson en route to Twin but is a short section so you should be fine, have fun.
  10. What's the weather outlook?

Doo'in my snow dances.....please please let it snow, even my 4 1/2 year old son said we need more snow so he can rip the yard with his mini-Z.
  11. Pictures of your sleds!!!!

Better pic of mine, 04-600Renegade XPS edition bought new to me with 923 miles and looks it. Very happy with it and can't wait for a big dumping to really test it off trail.
  12. 1.13.10 Plymouth Areas-quick ride tomorrow

Thanks, that is what I thought...and of course the 5 minute job never takes 5 minutes it takes 50. Now I have to replace those planks with fresh wood prior to placing the ledger for my deck. I will not riding this weekend but back up again mid next week and have been doing my snow dance for Sunday into Monday that it covers central NH since we need it. Ride Right, Ride Safe, and Ride on....have a good weekend everyone.
  13. 1.13.10 Plymouth Areas-quick ride tomorrow

Pic on Rt25 at the Bible Camp across from Ryzaks....also pick of deck ledger going in and found some nice rott....oh joy! Are these carpenter ants or termintes? My guess is carpenter ants but thought I would post a pic and ask. Thanks and have a safe weekend.

  15. HOW TO DEAL WITH ANGRY PEOPLE

I had almost the exact same thing happen to me last year. riding solo up in elevation on a trail wihich runs a logging road and was just puttsing along at 30-35(seriously) and this hiker started to yell at me and tell me to slow down. Well, I was going less than 10mph (per our handbook) when passing her. I was so upset since I thought I was being very considerate. So, I decided to turn around and go ask her why she was so upset with me riding on a designated sled trail. When I went back the extra mile or so she was gone.....so I will never know why she was so upset with me. Sometimes we may never know what is going on in their heads....oh well.
  16. Sledders Initiation....

I was thinking about this today and have complete respect for the cold water since I surf year round in NE and love it. Ok here is my thought.....any sledder looking to ride over frozen water when it might be questionable must go through an initiation at the NH border. This initiation would consist of a dunk tank of 33 degree water and you are dropped in for 30 seconds with your helmet on.....this will show anyone how quickly they can drown and go into hyperthermia. It may cause a few to think about their actions prior to following through with them. Pray for more snow, Ride right, Ride Safe and Ride on....
  17. Pictures of your sleds!!!!

Finally a Rev after riding the ZX chassis for too long....love the Renegade-will post a better pic but lost my job and PC which had some nice pics of it.
  18. Need Skidoo Dealer for Engine Light Issue

DaSilva is the best IMO although saw someone bashing them on another site. Also Outdoor Powersports in Bridgewater, NH- Skidoo dealer, Dave is the man there and he is very good as well. Good luck.
  19. 1.7.10-Plymouth Areas

Rode yesterday afternoon 40+ miles in upper elevation. Trails are good to great depending if they are logging road or woods trails. Woods still have many waterbars and rocks, slow moving unless you want the handle bars wrenched out of your hands. Main trails are great in elevation and down low are passable but very boney and rocky still. This weekend will be OK riding since no new snow but the cold is in place to keep freezing the water bars. Ride Safe, Ride Right, and Ride on....
  20. 1.7.10-Plymouth Areas

Thanks, yes it is, my house is half way down on the left(west)side. 3 bob houses already.
  21. Warren ride

I am pretty sure it is left North out of Woodstock near those power lines. Unless they have done a re-route since I was there last. You are right, signage is not the best around there. Great loops in there if the RR bed is open and decent. I prefer not to cross those bridges since the swither track is a ski eater....
  22. Warren ride

It is managed by Asquamchumauke Valley Club and groom it to the height of the land and the White MTN club grooms from Woodstock to their ending point. http://www.avscnh.org/ They say on their site open and very good. Guess this is a green light for run over it. Very scenic and steep at times.....Have fun.
  23. Warren ride

This loop should be good but stay away from the Warren to Woodstock trail, since it needs alot of snow to be pasable without issues. I think it is open, but I wouldn't take it yet. Ride Right, Ride Safe, and Ride on....
  24. 1.4.10-Plymouth Areas

Still looking good RR bed not open yet, down low is gettin' better and up in elevation well, still very good. Not much grooming going on yet but will come soon. Good riding week so go out and get em......pray for more snow this weekend. I won't ride until Thursday in this area since I am going to Canada tomorrow and will post Thursday night for the weekend. Ride Right, Ride Safe, and Ride On......
  25. 12.30.09 Plymouth Areas

Rode yesterday afternoon, trails down low are ridable and fair to good, up in elevation gettin' better everyday. New snow on Monday was 4-5 inches down low upto 10 up in elevation (if you can beleive) it snowed all night Monday into midday Tuesday while Plymouth was just cloudy up above 1000' it kept snowing. Have a great New years, took pics but can't download them since I forgot my cable. New storm this weekend should help open up the non-maintained single tracks for us backwoods riders. Ride on, ride right, and stay safe.
