  2. 7th Annual multi club poker run Saturday Feb 18th

Signs are up, groomers are out, and the weather should cooperate! Hope to see some SledNH folks doing the run!
  3. Great riding today, but...

My son and I had a great ride here in the southern lakes region today. Left Milton (trails like a highway) went into Wakefield's system and it was in it's usual state- ungroomed trash (same as the last 2 times there this year)... As soon as we hit New Durham, Mount Major, etc, trails were awesome. Kudos to all of you doing the countless hours of thankless work! 110 miles in the books! I'm not here to stir the pot, I know what clubs do to keep trails good, I've groomed, and cut, and built, for my club. I've noticed a few simple things that would help ALL who ride: If your maps are outdated, update them! If you have Trail Information signs with nothing on them, either take them down or fill them out! Nothing worse than going to a different club system and seeing Trail Junction ahead and getting there and all signs are faded/blank! I carry a Sharpie on me at all times so I can copy over faded signs, etc. If the last time your trail conditions page on FB or whatever was updated in December, or in 2015, fix it! A lot of people check club pages before they take the time to trailer there or whatever. Sucks to arrive to junk trails because FB said they were "pristine". Like I said, I'm not trying to be a PITA, but wanted to express the frustrating things the average rider sees.
  4. You can ride EVERYWHERE now...BUT?

Amen to that! Good riding statewide now.

  6. Arctic Cat sold to Textron

The snowmobile business is a tough one indeed! Hope all works out, even as a Doo guy!
  7. How much snow fell where you live

  8. Aftermarket can question

Diamond S Ti Quiet lightweight silencer weighs a mere 3.6 pounds and provides a power increase of 4.2 HP making it the most cost effective weight saving modification for your sled. The Ti Q lightweight silencer does not require fuel changes or modifications, simply bolt on and go. The Ti Q has a noise canceling baffled design which eliminates the need for packing, making it one of the quietest if not the quietest aftermarket silencer. Our lightweight silencer will pass the SAE J-2567 stationary sound test (stationary snowmobile noise emission may not exceed 88 decibels). If you have this can, and it's completely UNmodified (ie, not gutted/altered) , then you should never get stopped anyway. If you do and they write you up for it, and you can PROVE that it's the 88dB then I'd fight that all the way. Same way with street bikes.
  9. 99-MXZ 440 acting strangely- drive chain ?

You can sell the track/skid separately for more than $300
  10. Can anyone say Snowhawk? Niche market I would think.
  11. NHSA lack of information

I agree there are legitimate points over the past months, but I get tired (not so much now) of constant new posts every few days about what the NHSA isn't doing. I understand that the season was slow, and I know there are issues with the NHSA, but I've heard people call this site SledNHSA because of all the posts. Maybe I'm over reacting, but it gets old.
  12. NHSA lack of information
