We only ended up with 4-5" of new snow in Twin.  I'll take 9" on the ground but was hoping for more.

If the sled has heated grips, you don't want thick gloves or mittens. I would also stay away from gauntlets at that age.
Dexterity is very important, gloves with insulation on the back of the hand are the best, use chemical hand warmers as a supplemental heating source also
I put them in my pockets activated before I ride, if your hands get cold you can stop and put your hands in your pockets and warm them up quickly .
I also use them for my cell phone and camera in my pockets.

2954.  Mother Nature had us on a roller coaster, but conditions up north in March were best I've seen in a while.
Huge thanks to groomer operators from SDR, GTB, Colebrook, Stratford, and Umbagog for a job well done!

We matched almost exact. Had some rain and melt where we frequent that sure didn't help. (less miles than usual)

Nor'easter reacted to ljgomes in NHSA bylaws changes
I doubt you will get any straight answers from NHSA.  Their entire goal is to preserve their $10/member income stream from the clubs.  The reason they are redoing their bylaws is because they are trying to get around the fact that the AG said that NHSA could not force club members to join their organization.  Now they are trying to charge a $10 "transaction fee" for the clubs to get a voucher number from them.  NHOHVA provides these voucher numbers to the ATV clubs for free.  I don't think this idea will pass the smell test regardless of how they structure their bylaws and rules of business.  Its time for a new organization to rise up and be committed to working FOR the clubs instead of against them or there are not going to be any clubs left to run the trail system.

I agree completely.  Having been on the board of NHSA and NHOHVA, I have to say the NHOHVA is much more caring about the needs of the clubs.  After what happened with the Attorney General investigation, I would have thought they would change their ways.  Instead they are trying to get around the AG rulings.  Its amazing to me  but proves the old adage:  "It's all about the money".

    Thanks for that reply Larry
I am unfortunately  at the point where I don't care what happens ..
It is unfortunate that the dedicated, hardworking members are left in the dark ..
This sport needs a new leadership and focus on using the registration money for what is best for the sport period ... and not based on membership dues.
The income from these 2 recreational sports is really important to northern NH.
The North country and Concord are on two different paths. IMHO
I am a member of both associations .. while the ATV/UTV people are still new to this game, the NHSA has been around for a long time and knows the game
We need to put local concerns at the forefront and move forward as one group of dedicated supporters

Nor'easter got a reaction from Bilbo in Come on now isn't anyone getting excited about the next storm?
Hope this storm gives the Burg more than a few inches ... the lower elevations need it bad
plenty of snow in the northern part of the system for good riding left, put on 150 miles Sunday and Monday morning
came back across Lake Francis and brought the 1200 up to 100 for a bit, glare ice with a dusting of snow .... felt great
Back Lake shootout March 17th ... 600 HP turbo's on the entry list ...
I just cracked 1000 miles for the season, hope to add a few more this weekend

I guess I can understand that, but I personally don't like off trail riding, nor do I encourage it, but when you drag a bunch of children who don't know any better into it ..
that is just plain stupid. IMHO

My Father sold Rupps out of our, modest, walk out basement. Back in the early 70's you could buy 2/3 machines and become a registered dealer. He raced a stock '74 Rupp 440 Nitro. It won, nearly everywhere we went and his trophies are now top shelf in my garage, since his passing. Great topic, Mike.
