Wisconsin Trooper takes issue with snowmobile transport
gunmaker replied to pathfinder's topic in General Discussion
I had a Newport NH town cop follow me home one time to tell me my sled deck was to wide. He stated the law about the deck was past the out past the 6 inches allowed. Didn't write the ticket and never stopped me again -
Because we live where we do, we will register. IF, we lived where we use to, maybe not as the snow is less and travel would be involved. We have ridden every trail up in the Pittsburg/Errol area so to register and have to travel to ride same trails, maybe not. IF we still lived down south might consider registering in another state because of having to travel. 3 hours traveling puts you into any good riding northern direction.

When do 2019-2020 registration number come out?
gunmaker replied to WideOpenOrNothin's topic in General Discussion
I have already sold one sled to out of state person. We do have a 4 seat RZR that is a 2017 and we have over 5200 miles on it. We bought it leftover June of 2018. My 2007 Crossfire only has about that many miles so it kind of shows the difference. IF, you do but a 4 seater, ust watch the width as some places you are limited. -
WISH THE SNOW WOULD STOP!!!!!. Ok that's out. All's good on the 45th Parallel as far as the virus. Been taking drives and have seen moose, bear and a very red fox, not many deer anymore.

Color doesn't matter to someone who is color blind,,,, shape and wording is what matters.

Like going into the Los Angeles area and hearing on the radio the Golden State freeway is backed up for miles, I WANT THE NUMBER!!!!!

We went to the event they had there yeeeears ago and the only thing missing, to me, were vendors. The event would have taken off with more vendors. Plenty of good food, racing, and swap meet, ust no vendors

Affordable Trail Signs Every Club Can Make
gunmaker replied to BruceST660's topic in General Discussion
The mileage for gas is what i meant. We have never been to the point of running out as when we get to 1/2 tank we start looking when in new areas. -

Very nice signs. Really like the STOP ones in case you break down you know where to bring the trailer. I do wish signs had mileage to where the gas is though. Still great idea to save money and put more info out there -
It is Colebrook. The next time you stay and ride from the Northern Comfort Motel ask them, they are across the street

11 Degrees, Tow Job, Vintage Sled, Funny Stuff!
gunmaker replied to pathfinder's topic in General Discussion
See, i moved here from the deserts of Calif when i was 42 in July 94. I learned in OCTOBER to wear/take warm clothes with me everywhere. -
I guess, if you are using it just on a farm/ranch/something in that nature you would be fine.

I'd rather run out of gas out on the trail than run out of battery
