Sled Dave

Seven Lakes Club area the Miss Wakefield Diner and parking area closed for the winter. It was always a great food stop on Rte 16 in Wakefield on Rte 16. The final 1/4 mile of trail to the Knotty Pine Pub & restaurant (old Pine River Steak House) is closed by one of the next door property owner’s. To get to the pub or the local trail you must ride the public road or private property which we all know is illegal. 

How come when we see the NH Governor on TV he wears only at Ski NH jacket. We should give him a “SLED NH” jacket to help support our loved sport.

Check - NH sleds for sale. I see it a lot on Facebook and some great deals on there.

I've got news for you. That's gonna get worse before it gets better , I'm sure some of the other old farts here can attest. 
 

Maybe John Wismatt would be a good boss for NHSA He knows the system, he knows the trails, he knows the bull sh__, he knows how to find the rudder and he is a snowmobiler.

Now one of these Fat bBikes could actually help keep the trails groomed!

 Once the gates close the trails will they just go around or under them. Will Fat Bikers then be trespassers.

Nice sled, I had one just like that. I even had the red ski loops, but where are your mirrors.

I used my ride lite in Pittsburgh in the flashing mode on top of a hill to warn riders. Anyone coming over the hill trail did not know there was a sled broken down in the middle of the trail (caught fire) that we could not push out to the side. If someone was hot footing (pun) it over the hill it could have been bad. My ride lite helped warn them

I have used the light for several years now and feel safer with both hands on the bars. My hands were both on the bars when I got hit by the rider coming around the corner on my side of the trail. I only flew over the sled approx 10 feet. He and his sled went airborne and approx 80 feet into the brush. My sled only moved approx 8 feet after impact because my hands were on the bars (right hand tightly gripping the brake) and almost completely stopped. My hands on the bars helped me from being injured.

Went to the Grass drags yesterday. So much to offer everyone and great weather. Had a great time  Good Job NHSA.

Our governor could gain a lot of votes for senator if she did something like the governor of New York did for sledders/residents in his state but she won't. 

This starting to sound like the political debates, whose checking to see if they have small hands

Plus in VT you are required to have sled insurance so operating a sled is even more expensive. I have insurance and registered this year in NH, ME, & Quebec and have not ridden once. I think an early discount will work at bringing in some of the needed money, but not all the needed money.

Maybe with all the money the state of nh saved by not plowing the roads this year they could give the BOT & F&G some..

My registration agent just handed me my computer copy and I had to sign the copy they send to the state. I'LL bet if you go to another agent they will just hand you your copy.
