AdrenalineJunky got a reaction from Saluda in Buyers remorse phenomenon
Seemed off to good start with cold November and snow around here but as per recent decades norm, it fizzled out to endless snowless rainy misery here in southern NH.. So during the initial excitement I bought this for pulling my drag through the back 40. Spent considerable time on it to refurbish. All systems visited and addressed. I like these for their simplicity and reliability.

AdrenalineJunky got a reaction from dirt dummy in Reciprocity weekend coming
Well the north country atv club is planning their poker run big atv ride event this weekend.......despite temps forecasted to be *40. I asked about the 32* rule on their FB page and was ignored. The Fix is in! What little thin icey base there was on that whole are will be shot. Eff the snowmobilers!

AdrenalineJunky got a reaction from metaluc in Vermont Vintage Rendezvous (Postponed / Cancelled due to weather)
nh snowmobile museum site has been down and in fact its link leading to a complicated virus infection.
I sold one of my favorites to a fella in VT as an addition to his collection. I'll miss this one. I was riding it up until it sold the other day. That 500 fanner has great spirit and is a real blast to ride. Real comfortable too.

AdrenalineJunky got a reaction from Rock On in trail conditions?
Apparently you missed the absolute devastation to the trail system the atv's did for Saturday. North Stratford had some sort of atv poker run. Maybe 100 atvs. I have never in 30 years of riding there seen them trails so wrecked, trashed, and rutted so badly......Really, they were dangerous to snowmobile on. This was by noon Saturday and all day until that night. I'd like to give a big FU to who ever organized that event...on fresh snow that not yet taken a set over very wet snow from the weeks high temps.
You know The sleds can go out maybe a 2~3 months of the year if we're lucky and to see the entire trail system within a 20 mile radius get ruined by wheeled vehicles is outrageous.
Yes I own a ATV, and a sxs, but in no way would I go out there to destroy the ride for snowmobilers / skiers.

AdrenalineJunky got a reaction from Bilbo in trail conditions?
Trails were excellent in elevation and hilly areas. We rode 200 miles Saturday from groveton up to Pitts deere mountain/can border. Thin and icy near towns and small
connector trails but out in woods even in open elevated areas was real good. Ran into the usual 20 miles of "Pittsburgh" bumps from 140n up to the northern fringe on 5.
Without more snow, at least a few inches, and some above freezing day temps will seriously hinder getting to the good stuff.

AdrenalineJunky got a reaction from Yamiblue in Update on 2016-2017 registrations
I feel sorry for anyone with a snowmobile riding through new durham valley (alton). Thankfully this mentality is not widespread. Run yer atv 9 months as you please, give the ski vehicles some courtesy during sensitive trail surface times the other 2 or 3 months please.

AdrenalineJunky got a reaction from ckf in Update on 2016-2017 registrations
I sent out my paperwork 2+ weeks ago. Would have sent out earlier but never got a renewal reminder. Thinking back its been a few years since they send out anything.
I sent out one for my Condo-mate at same time and he is my same address. He actually got a confirmation call two days later, and got his proof in mail the next day. I got nothing. I am the guy that religiously registered and joined my club where I ride, have always DONATED GENEROUSLY and have even had my wife and I named on gold plaques in club garage for substancial donation funding several times......but have never seen them?? Oh well I figured the money was used wisely. Due to heavy ATV use on our trail system while grooming is underway...and subsequent trail destruction during low snow, warm temps or whatever I notified club this year that we would no longer be donating more than our standard membership fees....... kindly suggesting that maybe these atv guys can pay up instead. I was always the guy that banded all my group together and took steps to be sure they also joined our club....and that's not easy with this motley group at times lol.
Anyway, Thank you Josh from bee hole beavers for fwd me the necessary pdf file to get me hooked up!

AdrenalineJunky got a reaction from snorander in Favorite sled of all time?
Easy. Not only a great sled, but during great times...actually best times of my life. I was 13 and lucky enough to have the most refined sled of its day...most expensive too. I can thank my Uncle for hooking us kids up with this screamer. We had a bunch of other sled in the yard during this era but the 4/6 was always near and dear. This machine has a motocross dirt bike type power-band which is just a hoot. Fine handling and a good ride with sharp looks. My only complaint was its thirst for gas and a windshield that did nothing but look good.

AdrenalineJunky got a reaction from dirt dummy in New president
certain segments have improved over the last few years but the majority have not. Hence the poor gdp, poor job rate through the majority of husseins terms, high under employment rate under his terms, high rate who left the job force (ie gave up) during his terms, failed investments to green "ideas" leading to massive debt, millions of additional folks on food stamps during his terms, store closings, factory closings, outsourcing, money and factories gone under his terms. Oh and honorable mention to dang near $4/ per gallon gas and heating oil under the majority of his term which caused much, much pain to all from middle class on down. Yup, trickle up poverty is what we got. I'd also site all the social divisions Hussein is responsible for such as racial division leading to domestic terrorism, cop killings, minority racism against whites. Oh and muslim terrorism not only against us, but all over the world. Great job barrack. Great job to the major media outlets as well for twisting, omission, and falsehoods.
