    06 January 2012 - 09:31 PM

being a bit board this eve i got looking at the record highs and lows in Concord Nh after Jan 15th,,, I am seeing quite a few days where there is a 87 degree variation between records (high and low and I did see a 89 degree variance
Jan 26 as warm as 56 and cold as minus 33,,,,,, like they say what a difference a year can make!
  5. Please remind everyone

    20 November 2011 - 08:48 PM

TLTD has ONE landowner who owns over 1600 acres,,, this gentleman's land hosts TWO of our north south trails INCLUDING NH Corridor #11, Due to the fact that the sign that reads "STAY ON TRAIL OR STAY HOME" only applies to people who have a high enough education to read and comprehend, we have completely lost our club trail that went around a beautiful man made LAKE (near his vacation home) We have also lost quite a long section of Corridor #11,,,, the section of #11we lost was beautiful in that the trail width between the tree line was 60' WIDE for quite a distance kind of like "Pittsburg south".

There is no need to the lest bit upset with this landowner,, we had fair warning that if people did not stay on the trail we would be losing this area. We lost close to 2 MILES of trail total The landowner has been gracious enough to permit SOME of our trail to remain and provide access to adjacent property. I had to attain permission from 6 new landowners, build two bridges and cut a hell of a ways with a crew for the last FOUR SUNDAYS.

If your a "knot head" who enjoy's a quick toot up a embankment in the middle of nowhere please THINK TWICE before you do it again, my wife, kids and grandkids and myself had hoped to spend some time together before the Christmas rush begins in my greenhouse, my next day off after T day is now Dec 23rd

LAST YEAR I had opened a HUGE section of power line in Webster (12 new landowners) averting a ONE MILE lake crossing,,,, same thing happened knot head off trail on the wide power line caught a electric fence and ripped out 400' of fence with posts and insulators,,,,,,, the damage control that has to happen because of inconsiderate people is NOT fun! We nearly lost this new trail over the situation,,,,,,,,

I understand for the most part I am preaching to the choir but if you have EVER been a "knot head" please ,,,, never again ,,,,,and also please pass the word,, STAY ON TRAIL OR STAY HOME

ONE PIECE of wonderful news,,, we completed the reroute TODAY
