You may be better off to go out of Jackman into Canada. I'm going up to Jackman on the weekend Canada is offering a free pass for the weekend Feb. 11-12. Right now they have some decent snow cover.

thank you if we are going to drive almost 6 hours our best bet will be shawinigan about the same time and distance for us and should be the best riding right now.we are reg for the season but not in maine.4 of us are planning to do the free weekend since the other 2 are not reg this year.

Hi Jeff,

Before this snow, the trails just over the border from Pittsburg were closed. Once you were down in the fields of Chartierville the ground was bare. I don't think this snow we are getting now will help very much. :nea:

thank you very much thats what I though just wanted to confirm from someone who knows

you are the best

How come you dont mount the scratchers to the inside of the ski's? Seems like this would kick snow up into the tunnel more.Posted Image
some do some don't if you want to mount them on the skis you will have to buy a different style than the cable ones

What do you consider a very slow trail hog,Someone that may have a family riding in front of him. That what you call a trail hog could be me. I was not in Pittsburg this weekend but when I do I ride in the rear with a big group and when someone comes out of nowhere and tries to pass me will not get by. If they pass me they have 20 people to pass also. And most of the nuts pass you in the corners and up hills not being able to see what is coming on the other side of the hill. 35 miles an hour is fast enough. If you want to go faster get on a big frozen lake and stay off the trails. And I am no rookie driver. I have been riding since 1966 so that theory of riders in the middle of the trails are rookies. I ride the rear in the middle of the trail to keep people like you that think you own the trails and to hell with everyone else from passing and possibly causing an accident with who I am riding with. Slow down and enjoy the ride.
it is so funny how you just asume I am spped freak or something trail 20 goning south from tin came a single rider on a WIDE OPEN trail that you can see for a mile or so in most spots going a top speed of 25mph thats what I call a slow rider.I CAN STAND ******** PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO JUST ASUME THE WOREST WHEN SOMEONE POST WHAT THEY HAD EXPERNICED.I also have a family and I am very reclecfully of others I am also not someone who stirs *** up on any forum.Just feed up with people who asume other are riding like *****.I did 350 miles in 2 days and had a average moveing speed of 22.3 mph accordind to my gps wwith a top speed of 47 mph on the trail if thats to fast for you I am sorry.By the sounds of all yours 7 post you are a ass in what ever you drive and seem to be the kind of person who the rest of us would be better of without you riding or even driving anything at all

Didn't I ask for everyone to remain civil?

We do not have word filters here, because we do not need them here...

This sort of foul language will not do. Please- please- refrain from swearing and course words. The english language has 400,000 words or more..it isn't that hard to not use 7 or 8 of them here.
OT.
