Were you there ?

Well, Yeah! Drove out in my '56 T-bird and walked the last nine miles. Took me almost a day to find my car on the way home, which was located by a friendly young state cop that remembered seeing it! :db: Got as close as a 100 yards in front of the stage Sunday morning, just in time to see Hendrix play the National Anthem. Sunday morning was a "sea" of mud. Getting in and out was a gauntlet of endurance! :pardon:

Tough "Crazy" Mudder! Wish I had the stamina to still do something like that! Reminds me of late Saturday afternoon at Woodstock '69. congrats!

Some of you know I have two tiny ponds behind my house and have had Rainbows and Brookies there on and off for a few years now. At one point it occurred to me than these guys don't see a lot of small fish so I took upon myself to put a shiner trap in First Conn. Lake just below Lopstick. Now I am not a fisherman and haven't been fishing or bought a license in a lot of years, and just kind of grew away from it. :fishing:

Now one day when I was checking the trap and scooping about ten shiners, I heard a vehicle stop on rt 3 just above me, and thought nothing of it, until I heard a voice close to me say "did you get any?". I answered yes, about ten and looked around to see a local F&G officer looking at me, and requesting to see my fishing license. I told him I didn't have one and just wanted the small fish for my Rainbows at home, at which point he informed me that it was illegal to transport live fish from one body of water to another, unless you are a hatchery. At this point he asked me if my name was on the trap? By now I was getting a little aggravated and looked at him and said, " Do you think if I'm dumb enough to not realize I was fishing without a license and it was illegal to move fish from body of water to body of water that I'm smart enough to know that I was suppose to have my name on the trap?". He was not amused and wrote me a ticket for fishing without a license carrying a $56. fine. :(

So i guess I can verify the fact that you can't legally move fish around...................

So, are you in production mode yet D? Looks like fun, but also looks like I hate to get it stuck!

Wonder how it would pull a medium size drag?

I might be up to it, depending on when and where!
