Storing Sleds Outside in enclosed trailer

28 April 2011 - 10:51 AM

I will be storing my sleds outside this off season in my 2 place enclosed clam shell in an effort not to haul them back to CT. Besides normal summerizing what else should I do to prepare for this? My concerns are fluctuating temps and critters. Any adivice would be appreciated.

Awesome Experience

08 July 2010 - 01:03 PM

Just wanted to let you folks know what I great experience I had with Jim Degnan of D&P Construction. My wife and I started off just looking for someone to install a pine ceiling at our house at Newfound. I got Jim from here on the board and also met with several other contractors. We made the decision to hire Jim based on his ability to accomodate our timeline and his quote even though we had never met. I have to say I was a little nervous to hire someone I never met, but WOW what a professional finish carpenter I found. He did the ceiling, detail was great, then I got a quote to hang all the doors which I was going to myself but with the price he gave me I couldn't justify the time it would take me. That lead to hiring him for the stairs case railing etc. which came out awesome! I had big fir beams that I removed from the tear down we did, Jim asked what I was going to do with the beams and we came up with the idea of putting in custom headers over all the doors and windows in the house, this truely made the place really speacial for me and my wife putting some of the old into the new. Every person that comes in to our new home comments on the detail of the finish work, in fact all the other trades that come in do as well. Jim's detail and passion for what he does is 2nd to none in my opinion, and not to mention he's a good guy and a funny bastard. If you need a good finish carpenter give Jim a shout you will not be disappointed.
