Skinoobie, Will i be seeing you at the cookout this year? I've been riding out of brookdale forever and know the hardys very well. The cookouts are always a good time. Hopefully we get some snow... I'll be the kid with the orange f6 with white C&A skis on it.

15 N ends at lake kanastaka because of a land owner who now does not allow the snowmobiles through her yard. She also went on to tell all the people near her house not to let sleds through either. The only way to pick up the trail from that area without going down to winter harbor (museum) is to get it at salmon meadow cove behind the black cat island bridge that i know of. However have fun riding this weekend... it'll be great if you enjoy rocks mud and stumps. Oh no to mention no cooling on the lake. Just a speed bump, plenty of riding to be done the rest of winter but it still sucks. Hope this helps.

Will do skully... you should see the work he puts in. He puts on more miles on his damn quad with tracks dragging the groomer then he does his sled!... and hes got 10 of them! Oh well hes a great guy and an even better friend. Hes the reason I started snowmobiling when I was 6 and thank god for that! I've got a house in Meredith and I usually ride out of there when the snow allows. If im not there I'm at my buddies place in colebrook, but let me just say that Hollis is a great mid week get away... only 30 minutes from my house in westford

I rode Hollis on thursday from 11-3. Put on 48 miles. The snow was acually good and the trails were in good shape. I know the owners of Brookdale fruit farm in hollis and he constantly is out grooming on his quad with tracks. Ridden in hollis since i was 6 out of the farm. (where I learned to ride!) but thursday seemed particularly good. I love seeing posts like this giving the small clubs in the state credit!
