Snowmobile Club member-management software... who uses what?
I am involved with the Belknap Snowmobilers and it looks like we will be needing to deploy some sort of mission-designed software to keep track of current and past club memberships. We may not be looking for something like Quickbooks because this will not be for bookkeeping but it will be for email lists, active member contact , family informaiton, etc. Likewise, we may need something more mission-designed which excludes Excel.
An on-line "in the cloud" application may be considered as long as we can keep offline data backups. Since we're all volunteer officers, having multiple people in different places may point to cloud computing. Or not.
What do you guys use out there? Thanks.

Gunstock trails will be open for snowmobiles April 7 & 8

Gunstock trails will be open for snowmobiles April 7 & 8 (8th is Easter)
I attended a Belknap Director's meeting yesterday and this is what we were told...
This event not affiliated with any particular club, it will be a Gunstock Ski Resort event
It seems to be a "done deal" or so we are told
$30 per person to travel on any available Gunstock downhill trails
Weather and snow conditions permitting
So far, nothing on the Gunstock web site but we will be keeping our club web site updated
Please feel free to contribute any updated but confirmed information.

Yes, we had snow a few inches of it! What are the OVSC conditions up towards Wonalancet? Maybe we have been given a one weekend delay on end of season.

Colebrook, Dixville, Pittsburg were great Mon-Tues March 6
Plenty of base, well groomed. We took the sage advice of the SDR web site and whenever possible, tried taking local club or connector trails as opposed to the major corridors. Excellent! Also took Corridor-5 south to the Nash Stream sand pit parking lot. Nice, well groomed.
Pix of the Balsams was a bit sad... for this season anyway.

The Balsams really closed, really snowed-in. Maybe next year...
