we went up to camp in colebrook, in area of little dimond pond. arrived week ago saturday around noon. camp was warm and nice inlaws arrived friday to set up camp. myself , wife and 2keds. sister inlaw with husband. unloaded and with out asking son took off with his z120 and went to camp and suprized inlaws. lol. we unpacked and just relaxed that day. then sunday we road 70 miles. we did about 70 to 80 miles a day all week other then the day we got 2 foot of snow. wife slide was having problum a vibration in the track like ice but no ice there. took it to errol to be checked out and could not find any thing without taking it apart. we had a very nice week there. the trials were very nice to ride on. weather was great. we did get some rain and more snow friday. left saturday. thank to the sdr and pittburg groomers nice job on the trails.
riding the trail

myself and 9 other were riding the trail sunday and we meet one snowmobile in a area that was only on machine wide. he almost hit the lead rider. this is not the first time this has happened to me one other day. myself and my wife were riding the trails and a single sled had to lock up the brakes to avoid hitting me.
there are people out there that do not take the others on the trail in to there riding. it would be nice if we could do something about this but i know that is next to impossible to inforce. do to the fish and game striched to thin and spending there time up north most of the year. i do not know how many accidents it will take before they will do something. once up north on a corner one of the sleds in my party was hit by someone they did not even stop. will now that i have vented please ride safe and think of others on the trail.
