My son and I rode Bear Notch Road today and it was in very good condition.... The bonus was a new restaurant in Bartlet that is directly on the trail! The Cabin Feaver just opened and it has a really cool atmosphere and great food. I met the owners who are reall excited about snowmobiles stopping in. Try it out!

Snow buries North Country
Messy road conditions up north this afternoon, where, in some places, residents are digging out from a foot or more of snow, while others are anxiously watching nearby rivers for ice jams.
According to the Department of Transportation, Gorham and Dixville Notch received 14 inches of snow in this latest storm, while Colebrook received 12 and Lancaster got 8.
Meanwhile, in northern Grafton County, officials are keeping an eye on the Ammonoosuc River, especially in Bath, for ice jams building up. Already, Abbott Avenue, at the Bath-Woodsville line, is closed because of flooding.
In Franconia late last night and earlier today, the Gale River caused flooding when it spilled over its banks, before the ice let loose. Several homeowners are now dealing with the aftermath, including cars that are encased in ice.
