Baker River trails now closed

13 March 2012 - 06:53 PM

It's official-the seaon here at Baker River is over. The gates on Green Woodlands are now closed. Please be respectful of all our landowners and do not continue to ride our trails. We thank each of them for their generousity in allowing our club to maintain trails through their private property! Here's to a snowier 2012-13!!

FOUND KEYS

13 March 2012 - 02:14 PM

a set of keys have been found on Baker River trails. Please pm a description so that they may be returned if they are yours. I have checked with NHRIDER on this forum & they are not his. If you know of anyone who may be missing these please pass it along-thanks.

burnt sled in BBRVSC trails

12 March 2012 - 07:39 AM

the "sacrificial sled" topic is locked or I would have posted there

QUOTE: "Just wanted to say thank you to whoever burned the sled in sacrifice to the snow gods , thinking it made them happy enough to get some riding in within 3o miles of home!
Anybody else see it? Any story behind it? Wasn`t far from the green camp."

we are not thankful that this was left behind on our trails on private property. The club has to clean up this mess because the thoughtless sled owner has not. Attached File  IMGP5056.JPG   128.94K   59 downloads

Vintage @ the Ride-In

01 February 2012 - 12:05 PM

As part of the 40th Annual NHSA Easter Seal's Ride-In festivities there will be a vintage display & ride in Gorham, NH this saturday, February 4th. We'll meet at the airport to show off our sleds, and if conditions allow, we will have a ride. The permit has been obtained for non-registered NH sleds to participate. The local clubs have worked hard to make this year's event a good time for all-there will be food & radar runs @ the airport with plenty of parking, so come on out & have some fun! We are also welcome to ride in the torchlight parade later in the day.

BAKER RIVER TRAILS

07 April 2011 - 07:35 AM

All Baker River Trails are officially closed for the season now. Please show respect for our landowners. The club is extremely grateful to them & also thanks all of you for another great season-see you next year!

ps-we have a lot of brushing to do this year to make our trails even better-give the clubhouse a call to be put on the work roster if you can lend a hand sometime.
