You guys need to start your ice out contest pretty quick because it's almost gone!

How is it that everyone tells me there is tons of snow at Bear notch yet the White Mountain trail club says the riding is done today?? It could not have gone that fast on the north facing trails.

This is to inform you that as of 6pm Saturday August 27th all NH State Parks and DRED owned property will be CLOSED until Tuesday August 30th. This includes any trails on these properties. Also closed will be the White Mountain National Forest. PLEASE get the word out to your other club officers and members. �DRED Staff is working diligently to post signs and close gates, however it is virtually impossible to do all of this in such a short time.

Please adhere to this emergency closure.

Once Irene has left us, we will evaluate the damage and proceed with doing whatever we need to do to reopen our properties. Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation and please do whatever it takes to yourself safe.

This Friday June 24th is the Scrub Oak Scramblers 6th annual Easter Seals Golf Tournament at Indian Mound Golf Club.
