Dixville Peaks is closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for logging

FYI - I was going to take some friends down 134 over the peak to Log Haven this Friday but just read this sad news...Oh well time to reroute... =@

TRAIL REPORT - March. 14, 2011
125 (Piper Hill Trail ) is closed for logging from the 21 junction to the IGA till further notice
Dixville Peaks is closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for logging from 110 (Kelsey Notch Trail) and 134 junction and the Balsams Trail and 134 junction.

Grooming operations are ongoing. All trails to Colebrook and Stewartstown are open at this time. High country trails are good to excellent. Watch for water in lower areas

anybody cross 1st lake in Burg yet? I saw tracks on Lake Francis last weekend which I thought was too early but... What about 1st lake?

Camp Broken into in Clarksville

So I found out yesterday that my camp in Claskville that I own with my parents was broken into this week. My father went up there and saw the front door left wide open. Who ever it was smashed the window on the door and helped themselves to a 36 inch flat screen and 3 or 4 sets of fairly new snowmobile gear. An orange firecat snowmobile jacket size XL, 2 green and black articat snowmobile coats size large, a couple pair of bibs. Not sure what else yet - heading there now. Who ever it was went through all of the cabinets and draws in the bedrooms.. Somebody needs to be taught a lesson.

If anyone hears of someone selling some cheap snowmobile jackets please let me know. I would love to be the one to show up to buy them back. =@

ViperRider - lakes safe this weekend?

Based on when they started to freeze over - do you think the lakes are safe yet?

I saw tracks on both 1st lake and Lake Francis last weekend and thought who ever it was was :wacko:

But its been a cold week and wondering what you think?
