CKF and Rob,

The new upgrade seems to be working very well.

I think it is easier to use and seems to load faster. :clapping:

In Topic: Future of Snowmobiling in NH????

The NH snowmobile trail system is totally funded by the USERS (us)! The Governor or the "General Fund" do not contribute to "our" funding what-so-ever. This is the reason that NH snowmobiling funding is the envy of many other States. What we spend on registrations, club memberships, gas taxes, fund raising, donations, etc., goes into funding our passion in NH.:good:

So we should support SB-250, and oppose SB-366 correct ?? :pardon:
How can they approve one way reciprocity ??? maybe a reduced trail pass, but no money and trail access is a lose lose situation for the clubs....
These are NH Senate Bills. They still have to go to the NH House for approval or modification before they go to the Governor for signing.

Go to the hearings and voice your opinion and support or opposition to various portions of the Bills. This is the process to get a good Bill enacted. :good:

Nothing is cast in stone YET!

I just got this in my E-mail. These bills have a huge effect on weather a connected ATV trail system will happen in the Great North Woods. Anyone that can attend these hearings in Concord should express their opinion to show support and concerns.

"This is to inform you that the House of Representatives will be holding public hearings on SB-366 and SB-250 next Tuesday, the 27th of March in Concord at the legislative office building. Sorry for the short notice but this is how the system works!SB-250, sometimes referred to as the “fine Filter Bill” is primarily designed to allow interconnecting trails for ATV’s in Coos Country. The North Country OHRV Coalition is in full support of this bill. Letters of support for SB-250 should be addressed to Andrew Renzullo, Chairman, House Resources, Recreation, and Development Committee.

SB-366, initially was submitted by Fish and Game to clarify the definition of a snowmobile especially in reference to “tracked ATV’s” and to access an additional registration fee of $ 20.00 for winter use on snowmobile trails. This bill was supported as presented by the North Country OHRV Coalition. However, after all public input, the bill was amended to allow all resident Maine and Vermont snowmobiles and ATV’s to ride without registering in New Hampshire. The bill was passed out of the senate as amended so the North Country OHRV Coalition does not support the bill in its present format. However, we continue to support it as was originally presented by Fish and Game. Letters of support for SB-366, if amended back to the original bill, should be addressed to Sherman Packard, Chairman, House Transportation Committee.

If you would like to email letters of support for both, we will submit them with our testimony. Remember, please scan them and email them to me ASAP. The timing means that I must have those letters by next Monday.

Thank you and if you have any question please contact me.

Harry Brown on behalf of the North Country OHRV Coalition
