Pittsburg conditions ?

I was considering trailering up to Pittsburg or somewhere closer on Monday. Does anybody have any input on good riding still ? Would it be worth it to head up ? As always thanks for your input...

Routes / Map / Comprehensive over views ?!?!?

I was wondering if there is a map online that will show all the major trails along with the connecting trails. In other words, I am in Center Harbor on 15 N/S and my buddy is in Wakefield, NH and we are trying to find the in between. I'm thinking the Yankee smokehouse, however it got me wondering if there is a huge comprehensive map with major junctions and access trails as well for the entire state of NH.

Thoughts ? or Help !! is greatly appreciated.

Is the lake safe ??? Winnipeasaukee that is !!!

Hey all, I have a house in Meredith, actually closer to Center Harbor. My question is this, does anyone know if the entire lake is safe for snowmobiles yet ? I know the inner harbors probably are, but I think someone mentioned the broads had just locked o the 8th ? So that will be only 6 days since that. I realize it can harden up anywhere from 1/2 to 2 inches per day according to all the research i have done. However I always wait for lots of tracks on the lake before venturing out. In addition, this year my son is 13 and I am going to let him ride my 1 up sled and myself and my 10 year old are on the 2 up.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

In addition, I am going to invest a couple hundred into an auger or some sort of drill to test the lake myself. Does anyone have any recommendations of what I should buy ?

Winnipeasaukee - Locked

It appears the lake locked overnite last night on January 4th... I was up there this weekend and the bays were all frozen and I checked many different live cams througout the day today and it appears it's all locked in. Now with temps forcasted to be well below freezing for the near future, all we will need is some nice snow and I will be able to anywhere I want....

Anybody else have any input on this matter or anything else ?
