Did Baker River trails yesteday with the wife. Boy was that place busy. Lots of families and a bunch of vintage riding guys who were great to meet and see on the trails.

Just wanted to sy thank you to whoever burned the sled in sacrifice to the snow gods , thinking it made them happy enough to get some riding in within 3o miles of home!
Anybody else see it? Any story behind it? Wasn`t far from the green camp.

Started looking for a new reasonably priced modular helmet w/ electric shield. Anyone try the GMAX GM54? Seams inexpensive at under $200 . Lots of venting, breath guard stays attached to flip up portion of modular. So much venting I`m wondering if it might have to many for extreme cold riding. HJC CL-Max 2 also under $200 w/ electric shield. Any other good ones out there?
Any input would be great. Can`t see paying $300-$500 for brand specific helmets w/shields.

Just about to take my sled to the dealer who will give me $4500 for trade in value, but would rather sell it to someone private who wants a great sled. Sled has high miles (6400) but well taken care of. Only ran Doo full synthetic (extremely important with isoflex bearings)custom snow flap,skinz hand-windguards, tunnel bag, clutches just re-done.
Just did a compression test 160 psi each cylinder.....hell I might just keep it.
Seriously would like to sell for a little more..somewhere around $5000.

I have a 2008 800R ADR for sale. Many extras , track is picked, ice scratchers(cable type), tunnel bag, skinz hand gueards-wind protectors, electric shield jack, shaper bars, custom snowflap. Sled has 6200 northern NH-VT miles. Well maintained and serviced reguarly. Stored in enclosed trailer.

My Doo clutch was thumping a little and had over 5K miles on it. HK Power is just around the corner from me so I thought what the hell they can pull my primary, disassemble it give it a thorough cleaning (internally) and let me know of any worn parts. I had just done a 250ml ride it and was fine. I give them specific instructions of what I wanted. I get a call later that day quoting me $700 to fix my clutch up. Holy s--t! I said I can`t swing that right now so please complete the cleaning and reinstall as per original instructions, I plan on riding it. I go pay for it,$100, they bring it out I load it on my trailer. I figure what the hell I `ll open the side panel and give it a peak. I reach my finger inside the clutch and it comes out completely black, and with closer look is full of s--t ,NO Cleaning. I asked to speak to the tech as my clutch was the same as when I brought it in.The tech comes out with a forklift and tells me ok I`ll blow it out with some air.WTF.I say I can do that why would I bring it here for that. He tells me my clutch is junk. I left. After closer inspection the next a.m. the clutch was completely filthy with more shit on the sheeves then before, fingerprint smudges from the tech all over it , even felt like oil. The timing marks were not aligned during reassembly and the f---ing thing wobbles like hell now. How can they stay in business with total diregard for the customer. NEVER AGAIN for HK... they SUCK...
