went out to turkey pond today. ice was safe but the launch onto the ice was not and made for an intresting day. 4 trucks got onto the ice but couldn't get off without help. buried my tahoe to the frame a few times trying get out. the pond itself was ok. there isn't really any snow cover just some hard pack around the edges. if anyone goes out there don't drive onto the ice unless you have a winch. :wacko:
