A 14 year old boy collides with a pickup truck on Creampoke road in Stewartstown Sunday. Short story in today's on-line Union Leader that can be read HERE.

Don't have a link to it right yet, but a 23 year old man was killed this weekend in Sanford Maine when he lost control of his sled and was tossed head first in to a gate. He was wearing a helmet but the impact was too great for it to save him.

Please, join a Club where you regularly ride...and when you see a Groomer Jar hopefully give what you can as every penny counts!

assuming he was on the shared section this is a good reason to slow down and be careful when on 21, I know I haven't always been the best about that heading towards Pittsburg. Hope he recovers quickly.

A friend of mine has a camp on creampoke rd, 3 years ago while leaveing 2 kids were flying up the road on thier snowmobile when we met lucky we all stopped in time. The proplem was the trail next to the road was real rough so everyone was using the plowed road. One has to wonder if this is what happened.

I heard that play out on the scanner yesterday. He suffered an open femur fracture and it took about half an hour from the time of the accident until the EMTs got there. He is very lucky it didn't nick the femoral artery or it would have been all over.

Even if the road is dual access, if it is plowed the speed limit is 10 mph in NH.

The road is not dual access, & we had an excavator open up the trail this summer, it's 25-30 feet wide now. Some people still ride the road. This happened just after someone was hurt jumping their sled off a plywood ramp in a field off Old County Rd. Wild afternoon around here.

I went to my friends camp on Creampoke two weekends ago and you can see where they blew out the trail next to the road for snowmobiles to use but the road was just cluttered with snowmobile tracks. I always go slow up and down that road jut in case someone makes the dumb move and rides the road...

Sometime in the near future I'll starting contruction on Mudjet. Love it up there. Always snow and plowed road ends just before mudjet mtn road. It's getting built up in that area I feel guilty. This will be my permanant home though.

Just bought some land on Creampoke Rd. across from the farm where the plowing ends on creampoke rd. At the top of that big field. I will be building a garage and a home next year. Was wondering how far off trail 21 is, I know 21 runs pretty close to this area but have never come across this actual area by sled before. I have only been up Creampoke rd. by vehicle this summer to purchase this land. Can we ride the road starting at the farm? The realtor told me they stop plowing after the farm Dec. 15th which sounds like it is a combo. road and trail to me. But just want to make sure I follow the rules. I did talk to a lady who lived near my property but she was an elder lady and did not snowmobile but said snowmobiles ride through the field on my property all the time during the winter. I have a logging road (trail) on my property that goes deep into the woods but did not walk 10 acres to see where it goes but will ride it soon I'm sure. I own a place in Colebrook now and ride 21 alot to get to Diamond pond but have never paid attention to Creampoke road. Any info. will help. Thanks in Advance. Also if your my neighbors Hi I'm Rob.

I'm not far from you the way the crow flies.. Or even seld flies - lol.. I'm in Clarkville off trail 128. I believe where they stop plowing - that becomes the trail until you get to the top of the hill. Not 100% sure though. I've been on 21 each year also but didn't really memorize where the roads are in relation to it. But last year once at the top of the hill they the connector road was plowed and the trail went down Parallel next to it for a ways. But that may have been due to logging they were doing in the area - OR - due to all of the new camps popping up.

Well I have done my exploring around my land and what a great spot for elevation and the trail on my property goes right to the main trail built along Creampoke Rd. Very happy with the spot and my Perc test came back with flying colors as well. I did have a question when I went to the Angevines home (farm) and introduce myself as the new neighbor and got permission to ride there fields, they had told me the trail across the field if I was to go left would take me to Clarksville. Does anyone know this trail? and how far to Clarksville store from the farm?
