storm came through here this afternoon and dropped the temp to 72. But the dewpoint is 68 so it still is very muggy.

I can hear the thunder in the background so I'm sure the storm will be here soon enough. I can deal with the heat as long as the dewpoint stays in the 40's and 50's.

By the looks of the radar I think that cell should stay together long enough to reach Windham.

We have a nice refreshing breeze here now :good:

It was cool here today with a steady breeze. It seemed odd to have to wear a fleece top in July.

Same down here in the flatlands - upper 60's - maybe low 70's. I'd rather get the warm/hot weather done now than in Dec/Jan again!

Skip called me from the race and said it was kind of cool in the parking lot but perfect in the grandstands.

The high today in Pittsburg was 65°F and very low humidity. :good:

About ten years ago a friend of mine lost his entire garden to frost on July 12th! :shok:

Usually up here in Pittsburg you can count on one hand the days during the summer that you might need an air-conditioner.

The high today here at Coles Pond was 49.1°F and a chilly mist fell at times. Downright raw.

It was perfect down here today,
spent the day on the waverunner, the kids collected a pile of starfish and even found some old whale bones!

We netted a few dozen monster blueclaws.
Boiled them up and stuffed our faces! :clapping:

It sure is nice to see the sun this morning. We had a little rain overnight but no where near the 6 inches of rain that parts of Vermont got yesterday.

We are just adjacent to the areas that received so much rain. It seemed that the storms were just sliding off to the west of us, as we received less than an inch of rain yesterday.
