I pulled second shift, Mark D. did the first shift on C-19..
The OVSC trails were well used yesterday, there were 3' moguls out there AND the snow is set up hard, had to hit WLSP 6 passes....but it's glassy smooth now.
After getting WLSP to submit to reason, I ran out to the second 113 crossing on the Bowles trail...it too had some gnarly spots, but it's in fine shape now, and some sections came out absolutely perfect even if I do say so myself. I'd have gone all the way to the GHFT but it was @ /8th of a tank of diesel...

The trails are in as good shape as they ever have been, and it's Jan 1st!! Get out there!

Thanks, you guys are doing an awesome job! Even with the warm temps and high traffic we got some great riding in the past several days.

I think we've been keeping up really well considering all the snow and the holiday sled traffic. I keep getting the thumbs up by passing riders so they must be happy...right?
What a Winter so far!
Spend a day on a work crew with your snowmobile club. You'll meet some real wackos (an experience not to be missed) and you'll sure to do it again just out of a sick sense of curiousity!
High performance motor sports and booze don't mix. Nascar drivers drink Coke NOT RUM AND COKE. Over every hill and around every corner is a Mom and Dad, Grand parents and little kids trying to learn the sport. Ride accordingly. RIDE RIGHT! Pay Attention out there!

It hasn't been easy, traffic has been heavy! :good:

Just got back in from the 7 PM - 2:30 AM shift on the OVSC trails. Got all of Wonalancet, all of WLSP, short section of C-19...the last of the "water holes" on the Bowles trail has been filled, but it'll need one more treatment after tomorrows sleds.

OVSC trails have never been better. Seriously. 50" of snow will make it that way.
