Is this the 1st in NH this year? So sad. I know Maines has had a couple. With the warm weather, i am suprised no one has gone through the ice yet.
NH=2 (both into trees)
ME=3 (two thru the ice and 1 into a tree)
MA=1 (thru the ice)
I'm supprised there aren't more thru the ice this year.

trajic. Prayers go out to his family.
As for ice if you go far enough North you can find it.
I ice fished on Lake Francis last Saturday and there was about 18" of ice. Though I would recommend to use caution as the inlet is still showing open water and I bet the trouble spots around the bay to Spruce Cones are still dangerous
