West Ossipee to Mt Shaw via Castle trail on Superbowl Sunday afternoon.

Quite good!

We tried entering on the Castle/Tuftonboro side of the Mt.Shaw trail but chickened out due to what seeemd like a lack of snow. Might have been an unfair decision without actually traveling further up the trail system. So we decided to attack Mt Shaw from ther other side.

Trailered to West Ossipee near Watson's store and we were NOT DISAPPOINTED! More than enough snow. Plenty of very well groomed frozen granular all the way to the summit. No moguls, a few of the usual water bars but most of the trail I would rate an A-. No bare spots. More powder would have helped engine cooling but traction and smoothness were excellent!

Thank you NH Bureau of Trails and OVSC!

I know right! I went up there Saturday at mid day. Trails were still flat as a washboard for the time of day, weird! I think the secrets out now though.
