Make our annual family triip to Maine this weekend. Been renting a cabin near Greenville, and riding with the guys in the family. Two new people in the group this year, a cousin, and my new son-in-law (Got married January 1st). We didn't expect much snow, but the plans were made, and the cabin was paid for, so off we went. Didn't look good until we got about 20 miles from the cabin, then we started to see some snow on the ground. There was enough snow to ride Thursday evening, but just barely.

Got up Friday morning to 6 inches of new snow, and had a great day riding Friday and Saturday. Managed to get up the the B-52 crash site. It was amazing to see the plane parts spread all through the woods, and to imagine what happened that night.

Rode on my NH registration for the weekend, so I have gotten some benefit from it...

Not perfect, but good enough. We were pleasantly suprised. Some grooming was needed. None was done on Friday night, not sure about Saturday.

Seems that it was the first weekend where you could ride. We had lunch at the Forks on Saturday, the waiter told us it was his first day working this season, so I am sure they have been dead. As long as it stays cold, and you get a little more snow, you will be fine.
