OF-1 and OF-2 with our LADIES went for a ride at 7 am this morning. Stopped at Happy Corners Café for breakfast. Then we headed out to ride the new Hall's Stream trail (Trail 142). Conditions were 4 to 6 inches of fresh powder with a temperature of 18°F with snow squalls.

It was the first ride for OF-2, Mrs. OF-2 and Mrs. OF-1. After we arrived at Depot Camp the ladies decided they wanted to return to camp as they were tired. It was a 51 mile ride and a good start on the season.

This afternoon the Sun came out and it is a beautiful day here at the First Connecticut Lake, 3 pm. The current temperature is 15°F, mostly sunny skies with a brisk wind blowing.

The forecast is for a very cold morning tomorrow, around zero. Then a slight warming during the day tomorrow and Wednesday. Then colder Thursday night.

Come on up to the 'Burg, you will not be disappointed! :clapping:

Phazer Girl and I did an 80 mile loop this morning that was just awesome. :yahoo:
Fresh Groomage everywhere :good: If there was 4 feet of snow up here the trails would not have been any better. Trail traffic was minimal - probably saw less than 20 sleds all morning. Mid week riding is the best.
