So Matty (my riding partner) plays hockey in an adult league and whines up with 8 stiches for a gash on his forehead
and a broken thumb that needs surgery next week. Well there goes our plans of riding up in Pitts in 2 weeks and it just
may ruin his whole season. He has no luck lately, even had his preseason tuneup on his sled come back for the dealer
with a problem. We were all set with a cabin overlooking the lake too :-(
Guess i'll have to call and cancel it now ..... sniff .... sniff ....

That REALLY SUCKS. Wait all year for the snow to come into it and get hurt playing hockey. I guess it is the risk we take. I took a wicked digger on the ice the other day. It was one of those multiple falls with "other things that can really hurt you involved" fall. If I can't do much riding I get to depressed the rest of the year!

Hope for speedy recovery!

The way this season is going I'm thinking there might be some pretty sweet sled deals on Craig's list come the end of March/April....

is this from a fight in a beer league hockey game? If that's the case, no sympathy for him, I do feel bad for you though Rob!

Skully,
The next time a ride comes together with me, I'll let you know. I'm only an hour north of you.

Same situation with my son, Dean.
One picture was taken in October while prepping his sled.
The other was taken last weekend after a skiing accident. Surgery today, his sled season is over and he is BUMMED!

I wasn't suppose to ride for a year after my head injury and broken clavicle. 5 1/2 months later I was riding in Pittsburg.

He just got out of surgery.
TEN screws plus a 4" plate in his arm
. He's doing well but his 2012 sled season is toast.
