Hi Adam,

The lower elevation trails have gotten sloppy and some snert. The ones in the higher elevations are still good to very good. If the forecasts hold, by the weekend the riding should be very good.

I will be checking it out tomorrow and report back. :good:

I was up there today. The areas around Pittsburg have a very thin layer of hard pack snow/ice. Once you get away from town, snow is pretty deep even after the rain storm.

OVR please do report back. I have some vaca scheduled for mid week riding next week and advice would be appreciated. With my schedule as it is it might be next week or not at all so I'm motivated but would prefer not spending the money if I will be riding back and forth on east inlet all week if you know what I mean.

I have been out with a couple friends Tue, Wed, and we will ride today and tomorrow. We have about 250Mi. in so far almost all N of Back lake and over in the NE.

Conditions are fair to good in most places. Fortunately before the warm rain, the trails were groomed down so everything is relatively flat. Ice on the bottom and in most inside corners. The groomers are moving snow around and we saw 3 of them last night.

Based on the best of conditions, you could say it isn't the greatest right now - based on the closed trails in the S end of the state I would say it is fantastic riding ;-).

I'm sure it will be fine. Lots of snow up there once you get out of town!
