On 93 I go 65 like everyone else and when I see someone coming a lot faster then 65 I pull up parallel with the guy in the right lane and continue on until I get to my exit.
LIAR, LIAR PANTS ON FIRE ......
" like everyone else "
like everyone else ..... that would be like 80 !
I had to yell at my 81 year old Father for doing 80+ with my 82 year old mother in the car with himwhen they drove up to Lake Winnie this past Summer. I said WTF were you thinking !My Mom told my Dad I was gonna yell at him if he said he did.He drice an older Toyota Camery but his eyes and reaction time is not so well.
Rob ....

uh oh, you might be the guy I had to follow for 20 minutes overheating my liquid cooled engine and smoking my belt because the folks in your group all run fans and go 15 mph. Try being courteous for a change.
Nope wasn't me. I go faster then 15. Next time if you start to over heat. Stop and let it cool down or you will cook your motor.

I own my side of the trail, the left side of the trail ir for on coming sleds not a passing lane. 45 is the speed limit but how many people do 45? All people need to do is follow the sled in front of you until the next intersection. People never pass "when it is safe"

If I pull over, it is safe for the person behind me to pass me plain & simple. Sledding since 1970 btw. You say you "own my side of the trail" that is fine and I agree with you, but you were the one who said in your previous post that you drive in the midle of the trail. And if you really do that on the highway you sir are a fiirst class a$$....

What do you consider a very slow trail hog,Someone that may have a family riding in front of him. That what you call a trail hog could be me. I was not in Pittsburg this weekend but when I do I ride in the rear with a big group and when someone comes out of nowhere and tries to pass me will not get by. If they pass me they have 20 people to pass also. And most of the nuts pass you in the corners and up hills not being able to see what is coming on the other side of the hill. 35 miles an hour is fast enough. If you want to go faster get on a big frozen lake and stay off the trails. And I am no rookie driver. I have been riding since 1966 so that theory of riders in the middle of the trails are rookies. I ride the rear in the middle of the trail to keep people like you that think you own the trails and to hell with everyone else from passing and possibly causing an accident with who I am riding with. Slow down and enjoy the ride.
it is so funny how you just asume I am spped freak or something trail 20 goning south from tin came a single rider on a WIDE OPEN trail that you can see for a mile or so in most spots going a top speed of 25mph thats what I call a slow rider.I CAN STAND ******** PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO JUST ASUME THE WOREST WHEN SOMEONE POST WHAT THEY HAD EXPERNICED.I also have a family and I am very reclecfully of others I am also not someone who stirs *** up on any forum.Just feed up with people who asume other are riding like *****.I did 350 miles in 2 days and had a average moveing speed of 22.3 mph accordind to my gps wwith a top speed of 47 mph on the trail if thats to fast for you I am sorry.By the sounds of all yours 7 post you are a ass in what ever you drive and seem to be the kind of person who the rest of us would be better of without you riding or even driving anything at all

-----------------------------------------------------------

Didn't I ask for everyone to remain civil?

We do not have word filters here, because we do not need them here...

This sort of foul language will not do. Please- please- refrain from swearing and course words. The english language has 400,000 words or more..it isn't that hard to not use 7 or 8 of them here.
OT.

So you ride in the middle to keep those who think they own the trails and "to hell with everyone else"...sounds like you think you own the trails LOL Correct me if I am wrong, the speed limit is 45 right? But you think 35 is fast enough....Sorry just playing devil's advocate here. I don't care who you are, how long you have been riding, or for whatever reason, I would just prefer that everyone stay to the right and not ride in the midle of the trails....trying to prevent someone from passing ends up with both guys being pissed of and something bad more than likely happening....When I see someone come up in my rear view mirror I pull over when it's safe & let them pass, they go one their way and I contue on at a pace that I am comfortable at.....

Good post. Trying to block people from passing you is usually not going to end well......both on the highway or on the trails. Stay to the right...let em pass.....and stop trying to impose your will on others. Have fun and stay safe out there. :good:

Agreed :good:
When I ride with my wife at a relaxed pace, I always watch for sleds coming up behind her so we can pull over and let them by.
If I was putting together a large group who wanted to do a relaxed sightseeing pace, I would have riders with communicaters at the head and tail of the group. The tail guy can watch for sleds approaching from behind, and let the leader know that the group needs to pull over at a safe location and let the other riders by.

It is very aggravating to get stuck behind a slow rider who has mirrors, but does not give a damn about anyone who might be held up behind them, and just keeps poking along down the middle of the trail.

Oh dear! I don't know if I should ask this here now but does anybody know how those folks that were in critical condition are doing now? Will they get well? Will they be able to ride again? Thanks.

Burns my biscuits every time!! I will give the guy the benefit of the doubt for a while, let him know I'm there but not totally obnoxious about it :clapping: and if he (usually ALWAYS a he)still insists on holding me up......then it's "Adios Amigo". :pardon:
