Had a great Ride this morning with noxrox, newfoundskidoo, & coldbrew. Started at profile Falls in Bristol rode south to Franklin to catch the railroad bed and all I can say is wow! From Andover to where ever the heck we ended up going to (south of Canaan I think) it was smooth, flat, & fast. What a great ride, much better than I was expecting! Off to watch the game.... :drinks:

You would have had to trailer an hour south. That just doesn't make sense.

Power line? The trail from Franklin to Bristol is the old RT3A car road, old hill village. We cross power lines, but we don't ride along them.
Clarify please?

There are power lines we ride under from the Franklin dam to Andover.

We have for years done a big loop on friday night there.

We start in on Depot street in Boscowen and take the rail up to andover, then up into Cannan then over to newfound, then back down to profile park. It is about 110Mi trip and just about always a blast.

I think he meant the power line trail from Andover that takes you back to the Pemi system...which we didn't ride yesterday...

When we were on the railroad bed, we had a small gas issue. We are all pulled over to the side.
As I am putting the syphon away, the F&G drive by. Hardly a wave, spins this track as he steps on it leaving the scene.

Phew, glad he came by when we were stopped. Easly 4 tickets could have been given out 10 minutes before.

we do it in the opposite direction ...lol....
i lead 15 crazy people from Boscawen all the way thru Rumney, up mt. Stinson then over to Baker via Tri Ponds (Warren)
then down Corr.5 to Cannan for Pizza then back to Boscawen. Something like 185 miles round trip done March 5th, 2005
GREAT time was had by all and 2 of the sleds had their young kids with them.
