LOL @ rivercat! You have NO idea how much I'm looking forward to it! Now, if we could have some snow so I can practice, that would be nice. One question. I heard somewhere that you were going to have an ice run instead of snow this year. Please tell me that isn't the case. I won't be allowed to run on an ice run.
Besides, I think the snow gives better grip and better ability to groom the track personally!

Well 800 Girl,,, we are looking for a "form" of ice,,,,,,,, we are 100% at the mercy of the weather,,,,, last year we got DUMPED on the day before the event,,,,, it was a VERY hardIce/snow pack ,,,we made the decision to groom the new snow ONTO the existing track,,, the base was VERY HARD,
unlike a radar run on a lake,,,,, we have to begin with a flat course, add snow,,, "some water" and see what the temps do,,,,, it does get loosened up as the day goes on,,,, will the temps be 10 above or 45 above? We gotta run with what we have,,,,,
I will def keep my fingers crossed for the best track we can possibly attain. often radar runs are on the plowed surface of a lake or pond,,,, we are on land which is nice,,,,, just have to master the BEST possible course,,,, there is the group of radar runners,, that will not even show up if it is "snow"
