Ok after 10 days this is what BRP told me they said there's no mechanical defect in my pull start, how do they know they never even looked at it.They told me they would give me 375 dollars for being a loyal customer and that i could use it as i want,i could bring it to another dealer but after not having my sled for 2 weeks i can't wait anymore i just want to ride.I'm thinking at this point i can throw in another 135 and have electric start so that's what i'm going to do.Still bothers me that they really didn't go the extra mile and inspect my pull start to see if there is water or something else preventing me from pulling it over when it gets below freezing.Wicked

But, the pull start needs to be your backup  Remember if things are to go wrong. They will when you are 30 miles in from any road. We had a 2000 700 Deluxe that this same thing would happen too. I remember trailering down to Colebrook and the dealer put a heat gun on the recoil. After about 15 minutes pulled to life and would work fine after riding for a while with the heat under the cowl. After that an extension cord and hair dryer was added to the tool chest. Although it had electric start, things can go wrong and did. We were glad we could pull start the sled and continue with our visit to the Great North Woods :drinks:

You need a new dealer. I would think they would pull it all apart and check how it got there.
