There is some natural snow, but plenty of man-made snow. 2 snow guns running whenever the temps allows since the beginning of the year, so there is plenty of white stuff out there.
The track has been redesigned specifically for the SNO-X races with high banked corners and some nice table tops and slow rollers. They are really putting the emphasis on FUN, so the track is built so anyone can get out there and ride.
Now the pics...You can see a couple on their site, linked at the beginning of the post, but here are a few that I got over the last couple weeks.
Here is the snow guns in action. This was taken on the 4th, so they have been making snow for a while!
The new snow on the ground (And my terrible photography skills) kind of hides some of the terrain and just how much snow there really is there. Everything is covered well, not yet groomed, but there is even more snow to come.
We hope to see lots of you out there, either to ride or to watch! I will try to update some pics later in the week when the rest of the snow is out and it is starting to get groomed.
