Bob & Sue Gaudette and Mark & Helga Ziegler, THE A TEAM, arrived at the Hut a little early to get things ready for the opening day.



The weather was crisp and cold with the temperature hovering around zero degrees all day. It was no surprise that the hot soup, hot dogs and the old stove were the big attractions of the day.



As you can see there is plenty of snow and the groomers were out all day getting the trails in the best shape possible.





Currently, 7 am, Sunday, January 15, 2012, it is -15°F and getting colder. The forecast high for today is -7°F. The trails will be firm and fast. Break out the extra layer of clothing.

Only to confirm what you suggested...layer up...... as it was a brisk weekend in the burg! Congratulations on the warming hut as it looks great.
