I just received my PRR map. I only see 2 significant changes.

Perry Stream trail is closed due to logging. It used to be just 15 miles from 1st Conn Lake (Lopstick Lodge / Ramblewood Lodge / Old Fart Lodge :p )up Perry Stream, over Deer Mt., and across Rt 3. Now it will be 25 miles. Food for thought if your gas is getting low and you are up around East Inlet.

There is a new trail 142 (or maybe an old trail that hasn't been used in years) which runs up along the Canadian border west of Indian Stream, then loops up around Terrell Pond. That looks like a good loop.

Be awesome if Perry Stream was open, but none of the maps reflect that...

Hi John,

Mark, when I was at the club last Friday trying to get the webcam going I thought I heard that. Not sure if the opening was going to be soon or a delay of a few weeks. Maybe Thursday at the club meeting could you verify if this is so and when or my old age was (of soon to be 50) creeping up on me and hearing things?

Perry west will be open 147. Perry east will NOT (140) There is a sign at the north end of 147 @ the 141 juction TRAIL NOT ON MAP. It was closed saturday from the juction with 142 but I believe it was due to the vintage race. As it has been closed for that in the past. Should make the trek from Deer mtn to Youngs about 14 miles instead of 11 to take Perry east. This is all from memory so don't quote me on the milage as I am approaching OF status. LOL

Since we are on the subject, I went out trail 137 from 143 towards trail 20 from adress 533, the trail looks like a dead end at a spot where it went to a goat path thru the woods ???
Am I miissing something here, I seem to remember the same thing last year??
