The groomers have been out and they will continue to go out all week.

All trails are open but watch out for water holes and unsafe ice. People have been riding on the lake and the gates are open, however it is still very early in the season so use caution on ice. The Lovell lake trail will not be groomed until a section of trail that crosses a pond freezes thick enough for the groomer.

The park and ride at the town beach is open for the season.

Lakeside gas is closed. No gas is available downtown.

Understandable. Just use caution as it is illegal to ride that railbed. But you gotta do what you gotta do.

yeah i know but the guy running the groomer today just past the railbed said that because of our situation to go ahead but be very aware that it is indeed a live rail and illegal to be on it.

As long as you didn't run out. Maybe I'll see you on the trails! We're going to Moose Mtn on Monday and looping around to Wakefield, the trails are groomed and smooth.

We were out early this morning behind Moose Moutain. Unbelivable how much snow is out there :yahoo: hope the rain does not take it all away.

Does anyone know how to get from Milton or Waikefield to The New Durham ATV trails like Devils Den and Caverly mountain out near Rines Road and Kings Highway? Those are pretty sweet views.

Groaty, I had to do that manuver once many years ago. I hate having to do stuff like that. If you get stuck in the area give me a call. I can come help you guys out if I'm not out riding myself. It wouldn't be worth getting a ticket or risking an encounter with a train, although I think it runs in the early morning. I hope that other gas station re-opens. It had good chicken and pizza.

From Milton, you need to either cross the lakes and go through Milton Mills and Union, or you can park at the town beach and cross 125 and go that way through pleasant valley to Mt jesse.
