Assuming the new 13-mile woods trail is completed into Errol, it will provide a direct route from Errol into Millsfield. The 13-mile woods trail parallels Rt. 16 and gives a direct route south out of Errol without having to go west on Charlies trail. The rumor is this trail will become an extension to Corridor 19 creating a one-trail-route from Errol to Berlin. Assuming that all of this comes true, I would estimate the trip via this route to be about 30 miles vs other alternative routes that are closer to 40 miles. With average trail conditions and a couple of view stops, you could do this trip in about 90 minutes.
