Hey all, 1st time poster here....
What's the best route to take to get from Gilford to Moultonboro? I have a MIL that lives in Gilford, and I'm pretty confident that from her place, i can remember/find the way to patricks pub and eatery... from there... trying to get to my families place in moultonboro... and then eventually find my way to north conway outlets for a bite and then ride home. I was thinking i'd just find a spot to hop on the lake and then rip up the lake all the way to moultonboro bay area... get off near Aeries Marina (Ambrose cove now i think?) and then ride up to the CITC and from there kinda poke my way around till i found a trail that went in the right general direction....
I'd buy a trailmap, but trailmaps never list the 'little trails' that are on private property that just link A to B. ie, my land has several trails on it that gets you around open water on lake Winni (hot springs all around my dock) and the trails on my prop also take you to red hill and village kitchen. They've never been on a trailmap though.... hence i'm looking for someones 'tracks'
Anyone have tracks for this? (gps tracks that can be uploaded/downloaded)
Redpine mapping doesn't cover NH yet unfortunately.
Thanks!
Also.... my sleds will be registered in NY... i can ride in NH w/o having to register again correct?

Welcome to sled NH!
If you can get across the lake to Primary-15 in Moultonboro, that will take you over Mt. Shaw and down to Corridor-19 and then Conway is about 20 minutes north on C-19.
When are you coming to NH? I might be able to meet you on top of Mt. Shaw and lead you on a tour of the Ossipee Valley S.C. and Scrub Oak Scramblers S.C. trail systems. The OVSC has no less than 10 places to get hot food, including the Yankee Smokehouse and the Songbird China-Diner..and several gas stations too.

That will cost you $114 either way, club member or non club member if the club membership is figured @ $30, and most are.
Don't feel too bad, I pay $94 as a resident either way. It's still the cheapest part of riding a sled.

You need to register in NH. OVSC covers Ossipee NH area (two towns south of Conway).
