Can't believe its that time of the year already....but this season's first monthly meeting of the Ossipee Valley Snowmobile Club will be next Saturady, October 1st at 5:00 PM at the club HQ at Canoe King on Route 16 in Tamworth!

Lots and lots to talk about including trail parties, the building of a 50 foot bridge, Tucker/Prinoth and drag maintenance, upcoming fundraisers and the Grass Drags and help we will need at our annual safety class being held once again the first Saturday in December.

Details to be posted shortly on our website HERE, and we hope to seee many smily old & new faces at the meeting....:good:

Please, join a Club where you regularly ride...and when you see a Groomer Jar hopefully give what you can as every penny counts!

John told me he was going to do up a steak tip and macaroni salad feed for 20 and whoever showed for the meeting could take home whatever leftovers there might be.......Pretty good of him if ya ask me! ;) ;)

by the sounds of that spread , some fresh bread, cold Coronas and some cabernet sauvignon and there won't be standing room for the meeting.

Sounds great Richard, see you there .

You might want to take Skip up on his offer if you plan on eatting at the meeting as Richard was pulling your leg.

Oh, got confused for a minute but whtmtn said he'd treat you to Sammy's (using his discount) after the meeting Saturday. He feels a little bummed about being so busy and not being able to volunteer to help stain the groomer barn. Don't let him slither out of that offer Carl.....

Spoke to Mark (whtmtn} today...he is looking forward to buying you supper but the discount doesn't apply to alcoholic beverages, so he says if you want a cocktail with supper you'll have to spring for that yourself.....:good:

I don't think they let you BYOB at Sammy's, but since Mark is in tight with the management they may let you slide.....:good:

Probably ought to take this to PM before we get slapped for going off topic....but if Mark is springing for a meal you better be getting the biggest steak they offer,I'm jealous! :)

Skip. . . this sounds work party related & your welcome to be on the crew along with 12 other volunteers per side.

Are you sure Mark is springing for the dinner & drinks ?

Heck, why don't we just side track the Saturday meeting into a paint party & BBQ ?

Just got the bad news....Mark had to back out of his offer. Seems the coupons were issued by the "old" management and the "new" mamnagement won't accept them...:nea:

Looks like you are on your own Saturday night....but John says it's OK if you want to bring a sandwich or snacks to the meeting......

Just a final reminder that our first general membership meeting of the season is tomorrow night at 5:00 PM at the Club's headquarters. Courtesy of John & Mitch, our meetings are held at the world famous Canoe King on Route 16 in Tamworth, right next to the go-kart track and just south of White Lake State Park.

Hope to see some new and old faces......:good:

Great meeting tonight....thanks to all that came out on a rainy and dreary night!

By the way Carl, you missed out again. Whtmtn bought the first round at Yankee Smokehouse after the meeting and we all hoisted a pint in your honor.....:good:

Skip, do you have a pic of the SledNH sticker? I didn't see the place to get them. I'd like a couple anyway. Bob H
Enjoy it while you can, now.
